Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end users, maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Provide technical support to employees for Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other business applications.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and operating systems.
• Manage user accounts, email configurations, and system access.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and security checks.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and network-related issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty support.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets while adhering to service standards.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
• Good understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and common business applications.
• Basic knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and networking concepts.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting, system formatting, software installation, and data backup.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Outlook configuration, and printer management is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, or Technical Support.
