Job Opening: Experienced OLA Electric Scooter Technician

Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Salary: ₹25,000–₹50,000 per month (Negotiable based on skills)
About the Role
Universal EV is looking for an experienced OLA Electric Scooter Technician who has in-depth knowledge of OLA scooters, electrical systems, fault diagnosis, and repair. The candidate must be capable of independently diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair OLA electric scooters independently.
- Identify and troubleshoot VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) and MCU (Motor Controller Unit) faults.
- Diagnose and repair lithium battery issues, BMS faults, and battery communication errors.
- Troubleshoot hub motor and other motor-related issues.
- Diagnose wiring, sensor, throttle, display, and electrical system faults.
- Perform scooter inspection, fault-code analysis, and electrical testing.
- Handle battery removal, installation, and related troubleshooting.
- Identify faulty components and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
Required Skills
- Previous hands-on experience working specifically on OLA electric scooters.
- Strong knowledge of OLA scooter electrical and electronic systems.
- Practical experience diagnosing VCU, MCU, battery, BMS, and motor issues.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and troubleshoot faults systematically.
- Must be capable of handling repairs independently with minimal supervision.
Who Should Apply?
Candidates who have previously worked at an OLA service centre, EV workshop, or as an OLA field service technician are preferred.
