Job Summary

Ultranet Solution Private Limited is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Fiber Broadband Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Fiber Broadband and Wi-Fi connections at customer locations. The candidate should be comfortable working in the field and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

· Install FTTH (Fiber to the Home) broadband connections.

· Perform fiber cable laying, splicing, and termination.

· Install and configure ONT/ONU, Wi-Fi routers, and related networking devices.

· Troubleshoot internet connectivity and Wi-Fi issues.

· Attend customer complaints and resolve technical issues within the assigned timeline.

· Carry out preventive maintenance of fiber network infrastructure.

· Test fiber links using standard testing equipment.

· Ensure proper cable routing, dressing, and installation quality.

· Maintain installation and service reports.

· Coordinate with the NOC and support team for issue resolution.

· Follow company safety standards and field service procedures.

Required Skills

· Basic knowledge of Fiber Optic (FTTH) networks.

· Knowledge of Wi-Fi routers, ONT/ONU configuration, and LAN networking.

· Ability to diagnose internet and network issues.

· Familiarity with fiber tools and testing equipment.

· Good communication and customer handling skills.

· Ability to work independently in the field.

· Must own an Android smartphone for service updates and reporting.

Eligibility

· ITI / Diploma / 10+2 or equivalent (Technical qualification preferred).

· Fresher or experienced candidates may apply.

· Experience in Broadband, ISP, FTTH, or Telecom field will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

· Valid two-wheeler driving licence.

· Own bike for field visits (preferred).

· Basic knowledge of networking and IP configuration.
