Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to manage the complete Human Resources function of our real estate organization. The HR Manager will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, attendance and leave management, performance management, HR policies, compliance, employee engagement, and maintaining a productive and positive work environment.
- Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & StaffingManage end-to-end recruitment for corporate, sales, marketing, construction, and support functions.
- Prepare job descriptions and coordinate with recruitment agencies and job portals.
- Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate with department heads for final selection.
- Ensure timely hiring as per business and project requirements.
- Maintain an updated employee database and recruitment tracker.
- 2. Employee Onboarding & InductionManage joining formalities and documentation of new employees.
- Conduct or coordinate employee induction and orientation programs.
- Ensure employees understand company policies, rules, roles, and responsibilities.
- Maintain complete and accurate personnel files.
- 3. Attendance, Leave & Payroll CoordinationMonitor employee attendance, late coming, absenteeism, and leave records.
- Manage leave applications and approvals in coordination with reporting managers.
- Prepare and verify monthly attendance and payroll inputs.
- Coordinate with Finance/Payroll teams for salary processing, deductions, incentives, and salary-related issues.
- 4. Employee RelationsHandle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns professionally.
- Maintain effective communication between employees, management, and department heads.
- Support management in resolving employee-related issues.
- Promote a positive, professional, and performance-oriented work culture.
- 5. Performance ManagementCoordinate probation confirmation and employee performance reviews.
- Implement and monitor the performance appraisal process.
- Work with department heads to establish KPIs and performance expectations.
- Track employee performance and identify training or development requirements.
- 6. HR Policies & ProcessesDevelop, implement, and regularly update HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper implementation of company rules regarding attendance, leave, discipline, conduct, and workplace practices.
- Maintain HR SOPs and employee documentation.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies across departments.
- 7. Statutory ComplianceEnsure HR practices comply with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants/payroll teams for PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, and other applicable compliances.
- Maintain statutory records and documentation.
- Support internal and external HR audits.
- 8. Employee Engagement & DevelopmentOrganize employee engagement activities, meetings, celebrations, and recognition programs.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training and development programs.
- Support employee retention and career development initiatives.
- Conduct employee feedback and satisfaction activities when required.
- 9. Real Estate Industry HR ResponsibilitiesManage manpower requirements for sales teams, site teams, project teams, CRM, construction, marketing, and corporate functions.
- Coordinate with project/site heads regarding manpower planning.
- Support recruitment for sales executives, channel sales teams, site engineers, project managers, architects, CRM executives, and other real estate positions.
- Monitor attendance and workforce requirements at project sites.
- Assist management with manpower budgeting and workforce planning.
- 10. HR Reporting & DocumentationPrepare monthly HR reports covering headcount, recruitment, attrition, attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and employee movements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR MIS.
- Prepare management reports and presentations as required.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information.
- Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Good understanding of recruitment and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and HR software/HRMS.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information.
- Strong coordination skills with management and department heads.
- Knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced real estate environment.
Qualification & ExperienceEducation: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 5–10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the real estate, construction, infrastructure, or related industry.
