Knowledge Manager

Oracle & Enterprise Applications Practice

Position Summary

The Knowledge Manager will establish, govern, and continuously enhance the Oracle & Enterprise Applications Practice knowledge ecosystem. This role will be responsible for defining the knowledge management strategy, building and maintaining a centralized knowledge repository, and ensuring that delivery teams, architects, solution leads, and practice leadership have access to high-quality, reusable assets, accelerators, methodologies, lessons learned, case studies, and intellectual property.

The role serves as a critical enabler for delivery excellence, innovation, practice growth, employee development, and operational efficiency by transforming institutional knowledge into a scalable and accessible business asset. The Knowledge Manager will work closely with Practice Leadership, Solution Architects, Delivery Teams, PMOs, Learning & Development teams, and Sector Leaders to drive knowledge capture, reuse, governance, and adoption across the Oracle and Enterprise Applications portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge Management Strategy & Governance

  • Define and execute the Practice Knowledge Management Strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Establish governance frameworks, standards, taxonomies, metadata models, and content lifecycle management processes.
  • Create policies for content creation, review, approval, publication, archival, and retirement.
  • Lead Knowledge Management Steering Committee meetings and drive knowledge initiatives across the practice.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure knowledge creation, consumption, reuse, and business impact.

Enterprise Knowledge Repository Management

  • Design, implement, and maintain a centralized practice-wide knowledge repository.
  • Ensure knowledge assets are organized, searchable, current, and easily accessible.
  • Manage repository structure, tagging standards, content classification, and access controls.
  • Implement processes to continuously improve repository usability and user experience.
  • Drive adoption of collaboration and knowledge-sharing platforms.

Knowledge Capture & Content Management

  • Establish systematic processes to harvest knowledge from client engagements, proposals, delivery programs, and innovation initiatives.
  • Capture and curate:
    • Methodologies and delivery frameworks
    • Solution accelerators and tools
    • Reusable templates and work products
    • Implementation playbooks
    • Lessons learned and best practices
    • Case studies and success stories
    • Training materials and learning content
    • Industry and functional domain expertise
  • Partner with engagement teams to ensure timely contribution of assets into the repository.

Practice Enablement & Adoption

  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration across the Oracle and Enterprise Applications practice.
  • Drive awareness campaigns and adoption programs to increase repository usage.
  • Enable consultants, architects, and leaders to contribute and consume knowledge effectively.
  • Partner with Learning & Development teams to integrate knowledge assets into capability-building programs.
  • Develop communication plans and knowledge-sharing forums across practice communities.

Intellectual Property & Asset Development

  • Support creation and management of practice intellectual property and delivery accelerators.
  • Maintain inventories of reusable assets and identify gaps requiring new content development.
  • Collaborate with solution and offering leaders to package knowledge into repeatable service offerings.
  • Ensure alignment between methodologies, tools, accelerators, and practice standards.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor repository health, asset utilization, user engagement, and knowledge contribution metrics.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure content quality, relevance, and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, AI-enabled search, content recommendations, and knowledge discovery.
  • Benchmark best practices and continuously evolve the knowledge framework.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Percentage of delivery teams contributing reusable assets.
  • Repository adoption and active user metrics.
  • Search success and user satisfaction scores.
  • Knowledge asset reuse rate across engagements.
  • Number of new accelerators, playbooks, and reusable artifacts created.
  • Reduction in effort through knowledge reuse.
  • Repository content quality and currency score.
  • Knowledge contribution compliance across projects.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Business, Technology, Knowledge Management, or related discipline.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Knowledge Management, Practice Operations, Learning & Development, Content Management, or Consulting Enablement roles.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Applications, ERP, Oracle Cloud, SAP, Microsoft, or large consulting practices preferred.
  • Proven experience designing and managing enterprise knowledge repositories.
  • Experience driving organization-wide knowledge-sharing and adoption programs.
