Job Description
- 📋 Core ResponsibilitiesLead Conversion: Calling potential customers (leads) from a provided database to pitch personal loans and overdraft facilities.
- Need Assessment: Understanding the customer's financial requirements and determining which product (a lump-sum personal loan or a flexible overdraft limit) fits them best.
- Eligibility Check: Informally screening customers based on their income, employment type, and credit awareness before pushing the file forward.
- Documentation Guidance: Explaining the required paperwork (KYC, income proofs, bank statements) and coordinating with the credit/operations team to get the loan disbursed.
- Target Achievement: Meeting daily talk-time metrics and monthly sales/disbursal targets.
- 🛠️ Key Skills NeededPersuasion & Negotiation: You aren't just explaining a product; you are convincing someone why your financial institution is better than the competition.
- Product Knowledge: You'll need to quickly learn the difference between ROI (Reducing Rate of Interest) vs. Flat Rates, processing fees, and how overdraft interest is calculated only on the utilized amount.
- Resilience: Telesales involves handling a high volume of rejections. A short memory for "no's" and a high energy level for the next call are crucial.
