Position: Restaurant Captain

• Salary & BenefitsSalary: ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month
• Incentives: Up to ₹4,000 per month based on performance and company targets

• Candidates should be comfortable travelling or relocating temporarily/permanently for upcoming outlet openings, as per business requirements.

Position Overview: The Restaurant Captain is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality restaurant service. The role involves supervising service staff, coordinating with the kitchen and other departments, maintaining guest satisfaction, and ensuring that restaurant standards are consistently followed.

• Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome and assist guests with a professional and friendly approach.
• Take and accurately process guest orders and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Supervise and coordinate waiters and service staff during operations.
• Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, grooming, and service standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, cashier, and management team.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service timing.
• Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Support the team in resolving billing discrepancies.
• Train and guide junior service staff.
• Monitor table turnover and ensure efficient service.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and food-service standards.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily operational tasks.
• Follow company SOPs and operational policies.
• Support management in achieving sales, guest satisfaction, and operational targets.
• Be willing to travel for new/upcoming outlet openings whenever required by the company.

Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality service.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a service team.
• Customer-focused attitude and professional appearance.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and restaurant billing is preferred.
• Willingness to travel for new outlet launches is required.
