The Opportunity

As an SAP SD Manager specializing in SAP S/4HANA, you will play a key role in leading and optimizing end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) processes across the enterprise. Your responsibilities will include overseeing solution design, configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement within SAP SD, ensuring strong alignment between business requirements and technology outcomes to drive organizational growth. This role is well suited for professionals with 7–10 years of experience who can lead high‑impact initiatives, influence strategic decisions at senior levels, and promote effective collaboration across cross‑functional business and IT teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of SAP SD solutions across implementation, rollout, and support engagements in SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Drive excellence across Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) processes, including Sales, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, Rebates, and Output Management.
  • Provide functional leadership for solution design, configuration, and deployment, ensuring alignment with business requirements and EY delivery standards.
  • Oversee and review functional specifications and ensure effective collaboration with technical teams for high‑quality solution delivery.
  • Manage cross‑module integration with SAP FICO, MM/LE, QM, EWM, and PP.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to lead requirements gathering, design discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Oversee functional testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support to ensure solution quality and readiness.
  • Mentor and guide team members while fostering a collaborative, high‑performance, and delivery‑focused team culture.

Skills and attributes for success

  • The SAP SD Manager will be responsible for guiding teams in solution design, configuration, and deployment activities, as well as overseeing the preparation and validation of functional specifications in alignment with business requirements.
  • Prior experience in at least one end‑to‑end SAP implementation project is preferred. SAP SD certification is an added advantage.
  • Candidates should possess working knowledge of SAP SD configuration scenarios such as Third‑Party Sales, Sales BOM, and Variant Configuration, along with exposure to SAP tools and utilities including IDOCs, LSMW, Batch Jobs, and SAP Queries.
  • Strong experience in OTC processes covering Make‑to‑Order (MTO) and Make‑to‑Stock (MTS) scenarios is expected.
  • The role requires a sound understanding of cross‑module integration with SAP FICO, MM/LE, QM, EWM, and PP, and the ability to support business process mapping, documentation, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Exposure to Customer Service–related business processes, including repair sales and warranty management, is considered a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ABAP concepts, including function modules and debugging, will be beneficial for effective collaboration with technical teams.
  • The SAP SD Manager will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and end users, contribute to requirements‑gathering discussions, and oversee functional testing activities, including unit and integration testing support.
  • Prior exposure to relevant industry domains and experience working on global delivery or multinational projects will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to participate effectively in functional and technical discussions are essential.
  • The role requires a collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently while engaging closely with solution and project teams to support transitions and ongoing delivery initiatives.
