Job Description
- Manage daily accounting entries, sales, purchases, expenses, and bank transactions.
- Maintain books of accounts using Tally, Tally Prime, or other accounting software.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records and ensure accurate input tax credit claims.
- Manage GST payments, reconciliations, notices, and compliance deadlines.
- Handle TDS calculations, payments, returns, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Maintain financial records and ensure timely compliance with applicable regulations.
- Strong knowledge of GST filing and Indian taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Experience in financial accounting and ledger management.
- Understanding of TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage accounting operations and meet deadlines.
