Senior Designer And Project Coordinator

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Client Handling & Business Development

• Conduct meetings with new and existing clients.
• Understand client requirements, preferences, and budgets.
• Handle new inquiries, follow-ups, and convert leads into projects.
• Prepare and present design proposals and quotations.
• Finalise projects and maintain good client relationships.

2. Designing & Finalisation

• Prepare 2D layouts, working drawings, and detailed drawings.
• Develop 3D designs, renders, and client presentations.
• Finalise designs, materials, colours, finishes, and furniture.
• Incorporate client feedback and obtain design approvals.
• Ensure designs are practical and execution-ready.

3. Client Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact for clients.
• Provide regular project updates.
• Coordinate design changes, approvals, and material selections.
• Resolve client queries and ensure client satisfaction.

4. Site Coordination & Execution

• Conduct regular site visits and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site workers.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings and designs.
• Monitor workmanship, quality, and site activities.
• Resolve site-related issues and ensure smooth execution.

5. Project Management

• Plan project schedules and execution timelines.
• Coordinate material procurement and vendor deliveries.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure timely project completion and final handover.

6. Team Management & Quality Control

• Coordinate with junior designers and execution teams.
• Ensure accuracy of drawings and design implementation.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the project.
• Conduct final inspections and close pending work.
• Key Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of interior designing and execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and relevant design software.
• Good client handling, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and site execution.
• Project management and team coordination abilities.
• Ability to handle projects independently from enquiry to handover.

Overall responsibility to independently manage the complete interior project lifecycle, from new client meetings and project closures to 2D/3D designing, design finalization, client coordination, site execution, quality control, and final project handover.
