Service Engineer

JD for Service Engineer:-

Technical Service & Maintenance

Install, commission and configure security equipment at customer locations.

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems in equipment and systems.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.

Repair and replace faulty components wherever required.

Conduct testing and ensure equipment is functioning properly after service.

Provide technical support to customers through calls, visits and remote assistance.

Customer Support

Attend customer complaints and service requests within the defined timeline.

Visit customer sites for inspection and technical support.

Explain equipment operation and basic troubleshooting to customers.

Maintain professional communication and good customer relationships.

Obtain customer feedback after completion of service.

Service Documentation

Prepare service reports after every site visit.

Maintain records of complaints, repairs, replacements and installations.

Update service status and pending complaints regularly.

Maintain required checklists, installation reports and maintenance records.

Coordinate with the Service Coordinator for complaint closure.

Coordination

Coordinate with Production, R&D, Store and Sales teams for technical requirements.

Coordinate with the Service Coordinator regarding daily service schedules.

Inform the reporting manager about major technical issues and recurring failures.

Coordinate for spare parts and replacement equipment when required.
