Job Description

We are looking for an experienced L3 NetworkSecurity Engineer with strong handson experience in Barracuda Web Application Firewall WAF web application security SSLTLS security testing and application monitoring The candidate should have experience troubleshooting complex production issues and working with application network security and infrastructure teams

Key Responsibilities Barracuda WAF

Configure manage and troubleshoot Barracuda Web Application Firewall in production and nonproduction environments

Perform L3level troubleshooting for web application and WAFrelated issues

Configure and manage web applications services server pools security policies URL policies access controls and security rules

Analyze WAF access logs security logs traffic patterns and violationattack events

Troubleshoot HTTPHTTPS issues such as 401 403 404 500 timeout SSL handshake and backend connectivity issues

Troubleshoot connectivity between WAF firewall load balancer and backend application servers

Perform WAF policy tuning and investigate false positives while maintaining application security

Configure and troubleshoot SSLTLS SNI certificates intermediate certificates and certificate chains on WAF

Monitor WAF health application availability resource utilization s and certificate expiry

Perform rootcause analysis for complex WAF and applicationrelated incidents

Implement approved WAF configuration changes following the organizations changemanagement process

Coordinate with application network security infrastructure and vendor teams for issue resolution

Work with Barracuda Support for complex productrelated issues when required

Maintain WAF configuration troubleshooting and operational documentation

Other Tools Technologies

Experience with Firewall SSLTLS application monitoring HTTPHTTPS DNS TCPIP and basic network troubleshooting

Handson experience with Burp Suite and Fiddler for security testing HTTPHTTPS traffic analysis and manual application testing

Basic working knowledge of Black Duck and SonarQube for application security vulnerability codequality and security analysis

Experience with ServiceNow for incident problem request and change management including production change implementation and documentation
