Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and creative WordPress Website Developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performing websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress CMS, front-end and back-end development, and best practices in web performance, SEO, and security.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress (themes, plugins, and custom code).
- Convert design mockups or wireframes into fully functional web pages.
- Customize and optimize existing WordPress themes and plugins.
- Ensure website performance, security, and responsiveness across all devices.
- Implement SEO best practices, analytics tracking, and performance optimization.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues or bugs.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to meet project goals.
- Maintain website backups, updates, and server configurations.
- Stay updated on the latest web development trends, technologies, and WordPress updates.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (portfolio or examples of past work required).
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and MySQL.
- Strong understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and custom post types.
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and web hosting management.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
- strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
