Key Responsibilities

  • Recordkeeping: Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and track daily financial transactions like sales and purchases.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and balance accounts payable and receivable.
  • Compliance and Taxes: Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and follow financial regulations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Software: Proficiency in tools like Tally Prime, Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
