Position: Dietician
Job Type: Full-Time
Working Days: 6 Days a Week
The Dietician will be responsible for planning and implementing nutrition programs based on Ayurvedic principles. The role involves guiding patients on diet plans that support natural healing, balance doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), and improve overall health.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutritional needs based on medical conditions and Ayurvedic principles
- Design personalized diet plans aligned with Vata, Pitta, and Kapha dosha balance
- Counsel patients on diet, lifestyle, and eating habits for holistic healing
- Coordinate with doctors and therapists for integrated treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and modify diet plans accordingly
- Educate patients about Ayurvedic nutrition and seasonal diets
- Maintain accurate diet records and reports (MIS support if required)
- Conduct workshops or awareness sessions on healthy eating
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic nutrition & diet therapy
- Understanding of dosha-based diet planning
- Good communication and counseling skills
- Patient handling and empathy
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reporting)
Qualification
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Nutrition & Dietetics
- Certification or knowledge in Ayurveda (preferred)
- Relevant internship or experience in hospital/clinic
Experience
- 1–3 years (Ayurvedic / wellness / hospital experience preferred)
- Freshers with strong Ayurvedic knowledge can apply
Patient recovery and satisfaction
- Effectiveness of diet plans
- Patient adherence to prescribed diet
- Accuracy of records and reporting
