We are seeking a dynamic Fashion Merchant to manage product planning, development, and assortment strategies. The role involves trend forecasting, vendor coordination, pricing, and ensuring timely product availability aligned with market demand and brand aesthetics.

Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser responsible for product planning, vendor coordination, trend analysis, and inventory management. The candidate will bridge the gap between design, production, and retail teams to ensure commercially successful product launches.
- Eligibility CriteriaDegree/Diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Designing, Textile, or related field
- Experience in apparel retail or garment manufacturing preferred
- Strong understanding of fashion trends and market demand
- Good communication and vendor management skills
- Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Planning & MerchandisingPlan product assortments according to season and market trends
- Analyze sales performance and customer demand
- Ensure proper product mix for retail stores
- Vendor CoordinationCoordinate with vendors and manufacturers for product development
- Follow up on sampling, costing, and production timelines
- Ensure quality and timely deliveries
- Trend & Market AnalysisConduct competitor and market research
- Monitor fashion trends and customer preferences
- Suggest new product ideas and improvements
- Inventory & Retail CoordinationCoordinate with retail teams regarding stock movement and customer feedback
- Monitor inventory levels and fast/slow-moving products
- Support promotional and seasonal launches

- MS Excel and reporting knowledge preferred
