Job Description
Execution and Supervision:
- Convert architectural and structural drawings into physical structures.
- Set out lines, levels, and positions on site using surveying tools.
- Allocate daily tasks to laborers and supervise subcontractors.
Quality Control:
- Inspect raw materials (like steel and concrete) to meet industry standards.
- Check steel reinforcement (bar bending schedules) before concrete pouring.
- Monitor curing processes and conduct on-site quality tests.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce health and safety regulations on site to prevent injuries.
- Stop work immediately if unsafe conditions arise.
- Ensure compliance with legal and environmental guidelines.
Planning and Resource Management:
- Track daily progress and report delays to upper management.
- Manage material procurement and minimize waste.
- Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and logs.
Coordination and Billing:
- Communicate between workers, contractors, architects, and clients.
- Assist with cost control, measurements, and subcontractor billing.
