Key Responsibilities
1. Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise daily construction activities (RCC, masonry, finishing work)
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor labour productivity and site progress
2. Planning & Coordination
- Plan daily/weekly work schedules
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and supervisors
- Ensure availability of materials, labour, and equipment
3. Drawing & Technical Understanding
- Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Highlight discrepancies and coordinate with design/consultant teams
- Maintain updated drawings at site
4. Quality Control
- Ensure construction meets quality standards and specifications
- Conduct site inspections and checks
- Monitor workmanship and material usage
5. Measurement & Billing Support
- Take site measurements and verify quantities
- Support billing engineers with RA billing inputs
- Maintain records of executed work
6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to site safety practices and PPE usage
- Follow local building codes and regulations
- Report and address safety issues
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR)
- Maintain site records, checklists, and logs
- Report progress, delays, and issues to project manager
🛠️ Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction activities (RCC & finishing)
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Good site management and supervision skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Attention to detail
💻 Software Skills
- AutoCAD (basic – for reading drawings)
- MS Excel (reports & tracking)
- MS Project (basic – optional)
🎓 Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil
- 2–5 years of experience in construction / real estate projects
