Unit Manager

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, safety, and dispatch.

Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, statutory regulations, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements.

Manage production planning to meet customer delivery schedules.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.

Control manufacturing costs and optimize resource utilization.

Lead, mentor, and develop production, maintenance, quality, and support teams.

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor plant KPIs and prepare performance reports for senior management.

Ensure preventive maintenance programs are effectively implemented.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and safety regulations.

Excellent communication and team management abilities.

Preferred Industry

Plastics, Packaging, FMCG, Chemicals, Automotive, or Process Manufacturing.
