Job SummaryWe are looking for responsible, compassionate, and reliable Patient Care Takers to provide day-to-day assistance and basic care to patients at home or in healthcare facilities.
The Patient Care Taker will support patients with their daily activities, personal care, mobility, comfort, hygiene, nutrition, and other non-clinical care needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
- Key ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help patients with walking, mobility, and transfers from bed to chair/wheelchair as required.
- Assist bedridden and elderly patients with regular repositioning and comfort.
- Help with feeding and drinking when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene around the patient and patient's immediate surroundings.
- Assist patients in taking medicines only as instructed by the family/prescribed healthcare professional; do not independently prescribe or alter medicines.
- Observe the patient's general condition and promptly report any unusual symptoms or changes to the family/care coordinator.
- Accompany patients to hospital appointments or diagnostic visits when assigned.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Assist with basic non-clinical post-hospitalization care.
- Follow proper infection-control, hygiene, and patient-safety practices.
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Maintain basic records or daily care reports as required.
- Immediately report emergencies or significant changes in the patient's condition to the family/supervisor and seek appropriate medical assistance.
- EligibilityMinimum qualification: 8th / 10th pass preferred.
- Previous experience in patient care, elderly care, hospital attendant, caregiver, or home healthcare will be an advantage.
- Freshers may also apply if they are willing to undergo training.
- Must be physically fit and capable of assisting patients safely.
- Good communication and a caring attitude are essential.

Important GuidelinesThe Patient Care Taker is a non-clinical support professional and must work within the assigned responsibilities.
They must not:
- Diagnose diseases.
- Prescribe medicines.
- Change prescribed medication or dosage.
- Perform medical procedures without appropriate authorization and training.
- Misrepresent themselves as a doctor, nurse, or other licensed healthcare professional.
- Working Conditions8-hour / 10-hour / 12-hour / 24-hour duty options may be available.
- Duties may be provided at the patient's home or hospital.
- Some assignments may require staying with the patient depending on the care plan.
- Working hours and salary will depend on the patient's requirements, duty duration, experience, and assignment location.

SalarySalary: As per experience, duty hours, patient-care requirements, and location.
