Housekeeping Staff

Job Description:

We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all rooms, common areas, and workspaces are clean, orderly, and well-maintained. This role is essential for providing a safe, pleasant, and welcoming environment for all guests, employees, or residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other assigned areas.

Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.

Change linens, make beds, and replace toiletries as needed.

Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.

Refill supplies like soap, tissues, towels, and cleaning materials.

Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.

Follow health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals.

Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in good condition.

Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.

Support other team members and assist with special cleaning tasks when required.

Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning (preferred but not mandatory).

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning.

Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift/move items.

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Basic understanding of cleaning supplies and their safe usage.

Honest, reliable, and respectful attitude.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in hotel, hospital, or office cleaning.

Knowledge of cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, etc.).

Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
