Quality Inspector - Tata Motors

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection: Inspect engine parts at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Measurement: Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances of engine components.
• Testing: Perform functional, visual, and physical tests on engine parts to ensure they meet performance and durability standards.

Required Skills.

Strong knowledge of engine components and understanding of their functions.

Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators.

Experience with inspection processes and techniques for evaluating engine parts.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot deviations from quality standards.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes of defects.

Good communication skills for reporting quality issues to supervisors and collaborating with production teams.
