Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard local and international vendors and suppliers.
- RFx Management: Review client requests or internal requisitions, issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and analyze bids.
- Cost Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment schedules, lead times, and commercial terms to reduce costs.
- Comparative Statements: Prepare price comparisons and cost-benefit analysis reports for management approval.
- Order Tracking: Coordinate purchase orders (POs), track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery of goods.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain a database of approved vendors and monitor supplier performance against key metrics. [1, 2, 3]
