Maintenance Engineer

1. Job ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and breakdown maintenance of aluminium extrusion plant machinery.
2. Maintain extrusion presses, hydraulic systems, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and compressors.
3. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimize machine downtime.
4. Inspect machines regularly and ensure proper working conditions.
5. Maintain daily maintenance records and breakdown reports.
6. Coordinate with production to ensure smooth machine operation.
7. Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance tools.
8. Ensure proper lubrication and timely replacement of machine parts.
9. Follow safety procedures during maintenance work.
10. Lead maintenance technicians, fitters, and electricians.
11. Identify the root cause of repeated breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
12. Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed on time.

• Required QualificationsDiploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in an aluminium extrusion plant.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, motors, PLCs, and industrial machinery.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a maintenance team.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Minimum machine breakdown time.
• Timely completion of preventive maintenance.
• Reduction in maintenance costs.
• Proper maintenance of spare parts and records.
• Improved machine availability and production efficiency.

Reporting To: Plant Head / Production Head

Experience: 2–5 years or as per company requirements.
