 Counter Sales Service Assistant

A cafe counter sales and service assistant welcomes guests, takes orders and processes payments at the counter, delivers food and beverages directly to tables, and promptly clears and sanitizes the dining area. 

Key Responsibilities • Counter Ordering & POS Handling: Greet guests warmly, take food and drink orders at the counter, and process cash or digital payments (UPI, cards, POS) accurately. 

• Table Service: Deliver prepared food, snacks, and beverages to the guests' tables efficiently, ensuring a friendly and welcoming customer experience.

 • Table Clearance & Sanitisation: Clear away used plates, cups, and cutlery promptly once guests finish, wipe down and sanitize tables, and reset the seating area for incoming customers. 

• Sales & Upselling: Suggest daily specials, pastries, add-ons, or combo upgrades during the counter ordering process. 

• Food & Drink Prep Support: Prepare basic beverages/snacks or coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure the correct orders go to the correct tables. 

• Hygiene & Cafe Upkeep: Maintain a clean counter display, keep the selfservice condiment/napkin stations stocked, and ensure the general dining area stays spotless. Typical Requirements 

• Education: Minimum 10th or 12th Pass (Higher Secondary). 

• Skills: Excellent communication, a welcoming attitude, basic computers and billing familiarity. 

• Experience: Open to freshers, though prior hospitality, counter sales, or table service experience is a plus.

 • Language: Should be able to communicate in English and Konkani/Hindi.
