Job Description
- Draft, review and finalize Agreements, Sale Deeds, MOU, POA, DAPA, Leave & License Agreements and other legal documents.
- Handle RERA-related documentation, compliance and correspondence.
- Conduct and coordinate property title search, title reports and legal due diligence.
- Verify property documents such as 7/12 Extract, Property Card, Sale Deed, Development Agreement, NA Order, Sanction Plan, Commencement Certificate and other approvals.
- Coordinate with Sub-Registrar offices, government authorities, advocates, architects and consultants.
- Prepare and review legal notices, replies, undertakings, declarations, affidavits and NOCs.
- Handle registration of Sale Deeds, Agreements and other property-related documents.
- Coordinate with clients/customers for execution and registration of agreements.
- Provide legal advice on property transactions, development agreements, construction-related matters and contractual issues.
- Maintain proper records of all legal documents, agreements and property-related files.
- Track stamp duty, registration charges and registration formalities.
- Assist in resolving customer disputes, property disputes and legal issues.
- Coordinate with external advocates and legal consultants for litigation and court matters, whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable RERA, Registration, Stamp Duty and other real-estate laws.
- Prepare MOU/DAPA drafts and coordinate execution with landowners/developers.
- Review and negotiate legal clauses in contracts and agreements.
- Maintain a database/record of ongoing and completed legal matters.
Qualification & Skills
- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
- Valid Bar Council enrollment preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in real estate/property law preferred.
- Good knowledge of RERA, property laws, registration and stamp duty procedures.
- Strong drafting and documentation skills.
- Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office / Excel / Word.
