Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Summary:We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, providing drug information and guidance to patients, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. The role also involves maintaining proper stock of medicines and delivering excellent customer service.

• Key Responsibilities:Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and suitability.
• Dispense prescribed medicines and counsel patients on correct dosage, usage, side effects, and storage.
• Advise healthcare professionals and patients on the safe and effective use of medications.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels, ensure proper storage of medicines, and monitor expiry dates.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements (Drug & Cosmetics Act, Pharmacy Act, etc.).
• Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records.
• Provide health advice on minor ailments, vaccinations, and over-the-counter (OTC) medications.
• Ensure high standards of customer care and patient confidentiality.
• Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized institute.
• Valid Pharmacy Council registration/license.
• Proven experience as a Pharmacist in retail, hospital, or clinical settings (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of drug compositions, dosages, interactions, and side effects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription handling.
• Ability to manage inventory and documentation effectively.
• Preferred Skills:Knowledge of pharmacy management software (e.g., Marg, Medixcel, or equivalent).
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
