Job Description
- Inspect and verify incoming raw materials, components and finished products.
- Perform in-process and final inspection as per drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret 2D & 3D engineering drawings, GD&T and dimensional tolerances.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, Quality Reports and Check Sheets.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate for corrective actions.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge and Dial Gauge.
- Coordinate with Production and Design teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure products comply with customer requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain quality documentation and records.
- Assist in internal and supplier quality audits.
- Required SkillsGood knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Processes.
- Strong knowledge of 2D & 3D Engineering Drawings, GD&T and Tolerances.
- Knowledge of Quality Control / Quality Assurance.
- Good knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with Production, Design and Purchase teams.
