Job Description
- Senior Accountant – Roles & ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate posting of entries, reconciliations of bank, cash, and ledger accounts
- Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances and timely filings
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits and close audit queries
- Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, and management reports
- Monitor budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions
- Handle finalization of accounts and support year-end closing activities
- Liaise with banks, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Identify process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiency
