Field Application Engineer – PLC & Motion Automation


📍 Location: Baner, Pune

💼 Experience: 2–6 Years

🎓 Education: BE / Diploma – Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics

🏢 Work Mode: 5 Days Work From Office

🚗 Travel: Approximately 30% customer-site travel


About the Role:

We are looking for a Field Application Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC programming, Structured Text (ST), motion programming, servo motion control and machine automation.


  • Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop PLC programs using Structured Text (ST).
  • Hands-on motion programming, including servo/motion-control systems and multi-axis applications.
  • Program and commission servo drives, motion controllers and motors.
  • Perform machine development and PLC-machine integration.
  • Troubleshoot PLC, motion and automation systems.
  • Support machine installation, commissioning and customer-site implementation.
  • Work with electrical schematics and automation components.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide automation solutions.


Required Skills:

✅ Customer-site commissioning experience

⭐ Siemens / Beckhoff / Rockwell / Mitsubishi / Omron / Schneider

⭐ Servo tuning / electronic gearing / electronic camming

⭐ Robotics / SPM experience

⭐ Injection moulding machinery

⭐ Hydraulic schematic knowledge

⭐ Java / CSS


Important: Candidates must have hands-on Structured Text and motion programming experience and should be comfortable with approximately 30% customer-site travel.


Candidates with only basic PLC/Ladder experience and no practical motion programming experience may not be suitable for this requirement.
