Department: GAC Content Innovation & Visualization and Internal Operations team

Location: Pune

Role Summary

Functional Responsibility / Domain

• Lead the development and maintenance of advanced dashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Ensure data visualizations adhere to performance, usability, and storytelling best practices.
• Drive the BI roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Lead the development and maintenance of MIS infrastructure, including databases, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Design, implement, and manage reporting systems to deliver timely and accurate business insights.
• Translate analytical insights into impactful, data-driven business recommendations.
• Collaborate with business SPOCs to understand reporting requirements and optimize data solutions.
• Conduct deep data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
• Perform data analysis to generate periodic reports and client dashboards.
• Optimize data models for scalability and efficiency while maintaining data accuracy across reports.
• Drive automation and process improvement in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Stay current with emerging tools and technologies.
• Develop and manage operational workflows and report KPIs.
• Maintain up-to-date SOPs and ensure version control for operational processes.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all systems.

Process Adherence

• Maintain the integrity and quality of data.
• Allocate work based on team capacity, skills, and deadlines to ensure efficient task delivery.
• Monitor and manage team productivity and resource utilization.
• Ensure adherence to the organization's Compliance, Confidentiality, and Information Security Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines.
• Monitor and enforce data governance and compliance with internal and external standards.

Client / Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external clients.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions through active collaboration with leadership.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders by providing proactive communication and value-added insights.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Compliance, etc.) to drive business results.

People Development

• Lead and mentor a team of BI developers and analysts.
• Support team performance, engagement, and continuous skill development.
• Guide career development planning, performance reviews, and onboarding processes.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Essential Qualification

• Minimum Post Graduation degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement certification.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in a mix of business practices and content innovation, including building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau, business storytelling, problem solving, and internal operations.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Prior relevant experience within BI / Reporting; experience in outsourcing industry will be an advantage.

Skills

• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Excellence in stakeholder management.
• Solid proficiency in Tableau, Power BI and other visualization, Python or data analytics tool.
• Solid proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
