We're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to own our sales leads from first contact to confirmed order, working closely with our technical and installation teams.
Key responsibilities
• Follow up on every incoming enquiry and sales lead quickly (website, IndiaMART, JustDial, calls, WhatsApp, referrals)
• Call and meet clients, architects, contractors and facility managers to understand their requirements
• Arrange site visits and measurements with our technical team
• Prepare and send quotations, explain product options and handle price discussions
• Follow up on quotations until the order is closed, and collect advance payments as per company terms
• Generate new business from industrial areas, construction projects, warehouses and builders in and around Pune
• Keep daily records of leads, follow-ups, quotations and orders, and share weekly reports with management
• Stay in touch with existing clients for repeat orders, AMC and referrals
• Keep track of competitor products and pricing
Who we're looking for
• Graduate in any discipline (BE, Diploma, BBA or MBA preferred)
• 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B or field sales; experience with building products, automation, doors, gates or construction materials is a plus
• Good communication in English, Hindi and Marathi
• Confident on the phone and in client meetings, with strong follow-up discipline
• Comfortable with MS Excel, email and WhatsApp for business
• Must be based in Pune
• Own laptop is compulsory; a two-wheeler and a driving licence are preferred
