Car Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers or goods to designated locations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of the vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Adhere to schedules for timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Handle routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
• Assist with loading and unloading of luggage or cargo when necessary.
• Keep accurate logs of driving activities, mileage, and fuel usage. 

Qualifications and skills

• Licensing and record: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safe driving practices.
• Navigation: Proficiency with GPS devices and navigation apps, as well as the ability to plan efficient routes.
• Time management: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to ensure punctuality.
• Communication: Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Physical ability: Ability to lift heavy packages if required for the role.
• Professionalism: A high level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service orientation.
• Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on the job.
• Problem-solving: Ability to adapt routes based on traffic, weather, and other unforeseen issues.
