Cashier

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail clothing store. The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and supporting store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them during checkout
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and other payment methods
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as per store policies
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balance at the beginning and end of shifts
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and promotions
• Promote ongoing offers, loyalty programs, and upsell products
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Coordinate with sales staff for stock or billing-related queries
• Report discrepancies or issues to the store manager

Required Skills:

• Prior experience in retail or cashier role preferred
• Experience using Retailware software preferred
• Prior knowledge of billing software/POS systems
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
