Job Description

  • Execute buy and sell orders in equities accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor stock market movements, prices, volumes, and market trends.
  • Handle client orders through trading terminals and ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate with clients, relationship managers, research teams, and other internal departments.
  • Provide clients with relevant market information and updates.
  • Track open positions, trade confirmations, and order status.
  • Ensure accurate trade entry, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Maintain proper records of transactions and client instructions.
  • Follow risk-management policies, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Stay updated on corporate announcements, market news, and economic developments affecting equity markets.
  • Identify and escalate trade discrepancies, unusual activity, or operational issues.
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professional conduct.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in equity dealing, stock broking, trading, or capital markets is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Indian equity markets, exchanges, and trading processes.
  • Familiarity with trading terminals and market-data platforms.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Good communication and client-handling skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and basic financial tools.
  • Preferred QualificationsNISM certifications relevant to equity markets are preferred.
  • Experience with NSE/BSE trading and order-management systems.
  • Knowledge of equity derivatives and technical/fundamental market concepts is an advantage.
