Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily upkeep, cleaning, and smooth operation of our private residential bungalow. You will manage a dedicated team of housekeepers and domestic staff, ensuring that the property is maintained to the highest luxury hospitality and hygiene standards.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

1. Staff Supervision & Leadership

• Daily Scheduling: Organize staff shifts, delegate cleaning duties, and assign specific zones within the bungalow.
• Quality Inspections: Conduct daily walkthroughs and strict inspections of bedrooms, bathrooms, living lounges, kitchens, and external patio areas to ensure immaculate cleanliness.
• Training: Train domestic staff on proper cleaning techniques, handling luxury materials (e.g., marble, hardwood, delicate fabrics), and safety protocols.

2. Household Operations & Standards

• Deep Cleaning Rotations: Develop and implement rigorous schedules for deep cleaning items like chandeliers, carpets, windows, and drapery.
• Linen & Laundry Management: Supervise the washing, pressing, sorting, and storage of clothing, bedding, and premium upholstery.
• Inventory Control: Monitor, track, and replenish cleaning chemicals, guest toiletries, pantry supplies, and fresh linens. Ensure minimal wastage.

3. Maintenance & External Coordination

• Defect Reporting: Identify and immediately report maintenance faults (e.g., plumbing leaks, electrical issues, appliance damage) to the House Manager or technicians.
• Guest & Principal Care: Coordinate seamlessly when the property owners are hosting guests, accommodating specific preferences and VIP requirements.

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, preferably in a 5-star luxury hotel, high-end resort, or private VIP estate.
• Material Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of handling specialized industrial cleaning equipment, as well as safe chemical application on delicate surfaces.
• Discretion: Strict commitment to confidentiality and respect for the principal's privacy.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, time-management, multitasking, and team leadership skills.
• Education: A High School Diploma is required; a degree or certification in Hospitality/Hotel Management is a major advantage
