Junior Architect

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our design team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of architectural design, working drawings, and construction detailing, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing architectural concepts, designs, and presentations.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, construction drawings, and architectural documentation.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and layouts as per project requirements.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other consultants.
• Assist with site visits, measurements, inspections, and project coordination.
• Prepare material selections, schedules, and basic specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to resolve drawing and site-related queries.
• Make revisions to drawings based on client, consultant, and site requirements.
• Ensure drawings and documentation comply with applicable building regulations and project standards.
• Support senior architects throughout the design and execution stages of projects.
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, and documentation.
• RequirementsBachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in architecture or related design work.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, or similar software will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, construction details, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and MEP drawings.
• Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Preferred SkillsExperience with residential, commercial, hospitality, or interior projects.
• Basic knowledge of local building regulations and approval processes in Maharashtra.
• Ability to prepare professional presentations and design documentation.
• Site execution and coordination experience will be an added advantage.
