Junior Interior Designer

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer based in Pune City. The Junior Interior Designer will support senior designers in developing design concepts, preparing drawings, and assisting with presentations for clients. Daily tasks include creating and modifying floor plans, coordinating construction drawings, researching materials and finishes, and helping with furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selections. The role involves site visits for measurements and inspections, collaborating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring that design intent is maintained during execution. The Junior Interior Designer will also assist with documentation, sample boards, and basic project coordination as needed.

Qualification:

Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client needs into practical layouts.

Knowledge of Architecture principles and familiarity with Construction Drawings for residential and/or commercial interiors.

Experience or training in FF&E selection, including furniture layouts, fixtures, finishes, and material specifications.

Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools (PowerPoint, Adobe Suite preferred).

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.

Strong visual and design sense, attention to detail, and the ability to follow design guidelines and standards.

Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with project teams, contractors, and vendors.

Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and manage multiple tasks within project timelines.
