Kitchen Staff & Service Staff – Job Description

We are looking for hardworking, responsible, and customer-focused individuals to join our café team as Kitchen Staff and Service Staff.

Kitchen Staff:

The Kitchen Staff will be responsible for assisting in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cooking support, ingredient handling, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. The candidate should follow food safety and hygiene standards, maintain proper storage of ingredients, assist chefs and kitchen supervisors, and ensure timely preparation of food items. The candidate should be able to work efficiently during busy hours, maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas, and follow company procedures and quality standards.

Service Staff:

The Service Staff will be responsible for welcoming customers, taking food and beverage orders, serving items accurately and promptly, clearing and cleaning tables, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area. The candidate should communicate politely with customers, understand their requirements, coordinate with the kitchen team, and ensure timely service. They should handle customer queries professionally and report any complaints or issues to the supervisor or café manager.

Candidates should be punctual, presentable, energetic, and willing to work in a team environment. Previous café, restaurant, or hospitality experience will be an advantage, but freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply. The role requires flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and during busy periods. Candidates must follow company policies, maintain discipline, and contribute to smooth café operations and customer satisfaction.
