Lead - Python + SQL

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong expertise in Python-based application development, data processing, REST API development, and database technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable data pipelines, working with large datasets, developing web applications, and integrating enterprise systems using secure file transfer and encryption mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
• Develop file-driven data pipelines and automation solutions.
• Build and consume REST APIs using modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Work extensively with large datasets using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
• Implement secure data exchange solutions using SFTP and encryption technologies.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance tuning.
• Ensure application scalability, reliability, and security.

Required Technical Skills

Python Development

• Strong hands-on experience in Python
• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Experience developing scalable and maintainable applications
• Experience creating data processing and file-driven workflows
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Data Engineering & Analytics

• Hands-on experience with Pandas and NumPy
• Experience working with large datasets and data transformation processes
• Strong understanding of data models and data structures
• Experience generating reports and analytical outputs from structured data

Web Development & APIs

• Experience building RESTful services using FastAPI
• Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as:
  • Django
  • Flask
  • Pyramid
• Experience in API integration and microservice-based architectures

Database Technologies

• Strong experience with one or more of:
  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
  • PL/SQL
• Experience in database design and performance optimization
• Strong SQL query writing skills
• Experience with stored procedures and database tuning
