Job Description: Techno Functional Consultant (Manhattan-WMS)

Looking for Techno Functional Consultant (Manhattan-WMS) for our VCE practice at Birlasoft, to work on Supply Chain transformation engagements for our clients globally in various Industry Groups.

Experience: 5 to 8 years.

Shift: Afternoon (2 to 11 PM, extendable in critical scenarios)

Responsibilities:

• You will work with the extended team and/or client to design and deliver actionable supply chain transformation projects

Primary roles

• Deliver as part of a globally diverse Supply Chain Advisory team entrusted with the task of delivering Supply Chain engagements for clients across various Industry Groups
• Must have 4 - 6 years of implementation experience on Manhattan WMS
• Project scoping/requirement gathering
• Client Management
• Strong Manhattan WMS Development, Configuration/Set-up & MIF platform experience
• Strong Techno functional knowledge in

• Manhattan WMS
• MIF Integrating Manhattan WMS with other ERPs / systems
• SCI reporting
• The Consultant ensures successful implementation of the WMS for clients. This includes understanding the client's Business Functional, architecture and Technical Requirements, taking responsibility for package configuration, and Testing & providing the post implementation and post go-live support.
• Must have good knowledge of End to End Warehousing Processes including Receiving, Put away, Order Processing, Picking, Packing, Shipping, ASN, PO Management, SO Management, Wave management, Inventory Management, Yard Management, RF Technologies, Automation Technologies
• Experience in analysis and configuration of warehouse management packages
• The individual will be responsible for development and maintenance
• Must possess skills in Oracle and PL / SQL
• Technologies / Platforms Skills should include: J2EE, Unix, C, Windows, MIF, WebMethods, SCI reporting
• Must have good understanding of the Interface Requirements between WMS and other applications (Oracle / SAP) running in the client environment.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of set up and configuration of Application, setting up of data, managing masters in the application, integration to other systems, and pre / post implementation support
• Must have done functional requirements from clients to set up WMS
• Must be able to document Technical Specification Doc, Design Documents, Use Cases, Test Cases, etc.
• Must be able to define various Technical & Functional scenarios for testing related to WMS.
• Must be able to define and draw various WMS processes, get complete set of requirements for WMS, get the requirements documented.
• Must act as an experienced interface between Client Business Teams and the WMS Technical Teams for successful rollouts.
