Key responsibilities

The Financial Systems Analyst /Software Engineer is part of the Accounting to Reporting ATR-Consolidation team, which develops and administrates the financial consolidation application (OneStream XF) for the whole A.P. Moller-Maersk Group. All legal entities report their monthly financials as well as quarterly rolling forecasts in our consolidation application. More than 1000 end users & entities perform their monthly and quarterly financial reporting on both corporate as well as segment level. Controlling, analysis and activity reporting with the support of OneStream and thereby provide insight to the business. The application is used both for internal as well as external corporate performance management purposes. The ATR-Consolidation team is part of the Finance and Tax Technology Platform at Maersk.

Join nine application architects and engineers who ensure that end users can work with a stable OneStream environment and who develop OneStream further by designing, testing, and rolling out new features and functionalities.

- Operational Service excellence, which includes

• Review of development output

• Development of minor solutions as an individual basis as well as within a teamwork with transparency and documentation.

• Review of development output are built according to specifications and requirements

• End User Experience

• Engage with end users, give guidance, collect feedback

• Analyze financial business processes

• Organize UATs

• Ensure Communication to the end user community

• Operate the System.

• Ensure process enhancements, standardizations, automation

• Analyze financial business processes

• Ensure translation of end users need into system solution

We are looking for

• To be successful in this role it is important to have an analytical mindset and to be detailed oriented; also, having the right drive and curiosity will enable you to try out, suggest, and present innovative solutions and ways of working
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, IT or similar
• Candidates can be newly graduated or have some years of experience from a previous job
• Business System Interest and Experience working within financial consolidation including OneStream, HFM, Cognos or similar is an advantage.
• Great understanding of accounting, controlling, and financial reporting processes, including forecasting
• Analytic mindset, being able to zoom into the details without losing sight of the bigger picture
• Knowledge of accounting is an advantage
• Knowledge in programming (VB.net) and SQL understanding is an advantage.
• Excellent written English to ensure high quality of all written material
• Extroverted Team player with great communication skills
• Eagerness to ensure that high quality is delivered to end users
