Job Description - Production Executive

Department: Production

Location: Bebadohol, Maval, Pune.

Reports To: Factory Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary: The Production Executive will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced safely, on time, in the right quantity and quality, and within budget. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of operators while driving continuous improvement, production efficiency, and compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets.
• Ensure smooth flow of materials and resources, including equipment, labor and tools.
• Monitor production processes to maintain efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Update production schedules and communicate changes to the team.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, coach and mentor production operators and support staff.
• Assign daily tasks, train new employees, and develop team capabilities.
• Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and handle performance issues.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications; perform checks and corrective action when required.
• Enforce quality control procedures as per company and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Safety & Environment

• Maintain a safe and clean manufacturing environment.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety inspections, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Support 5S and other operational excellence initiatives.
• Track performance metrics and prepare daily/weekly production reports.

Coordination

• 
  
• Liaise with maintenance, quality, logistics, supply chain, and other functions to ensure coordinated and efficient production flows.

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to chemical processes.
• PPE compliance required.
• May involve shift work or extended hours depending on production schedules.
• Ready to relocate factory nearby area.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of production planning, preparing SOPs, inventory control, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.

Leadership & Communication

• Strong team leadership, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem Solving

• Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective corrective actions.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Computer Literacy

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with manufacturing systems/software.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. (Chemistry) 3 to 4 years work experience.
• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred.
