Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Business DevelopmentIdentify and develop new business opportunities in Pharma, Biotechnology, Research Institutes, Universities, Hospitals, Diagnostic Laboratories, Food Testing Labs, and Industrial sectors.
  • Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, exhibitions, seminars, and digital platforms.
  • Develop and execute territory-wise sales strategies to achieve business growth.
  • Expand APS Lifetech's customer base across assigned regions.

Sales & Revenue Generation

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Promote laboratory instruments, diagnostic solutions, reagents, consumables, and services.
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to customers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close sales opportunities.

Key Account Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.

  • Regularly meet existing customers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage strategic accounts and institutional customers.

Tender & Institutional Business

Identify government, university, hospital, and research institute tender opportunities.

  • Coordinate preparation and submission of tender documents.
  • Follow up on tender evaluations and order finalization.
  • Develop relationships with procurement departments and purchase committees.

Sales Pipeline Management


Maintain an updated sales pipeline and opportunity tracker.

  • Track enquiries from lead generation to order closure.
  • Monitor quotation status and improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all customer enquiries.

Customer Relationship Management

Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.

  • Coordinate with technical and service teams to address customer concerns.
  • Handle customer escalations related to sales activities.
  • Ensure prompt communication and support throughout the sales cycle.

Market Intelligence Monitor

Competitor products, pricing, and market activities.

  • Gather information on emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Recommend new products and business opportunities.

Collection & Payment Follow-up

Coordinate with customers for timely payment collection.

  • Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure adherence to payment terms.
  • Support the finance team in resolving payment-related issues.
  • Minimize overdue accounts within the assigned territory.
  • 9. Coordination with Internal TeamsWork closely with application, service, logistics, and finance teams.
  • Ensure smooth order processing and delivery execution.
  • Coordinate installation schedules with service engineers.
  • Support customers during pre-sales and post-sales activities.

Reporting & MIS

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in CRM.
  • Provide sales forecasts and business projections.
  • Present territory performance reports to management.
  • Performance ExpectationsAchieve assigned sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Generate consistent new customer acquisition.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and repeat business.
  • Ensure timely collections and minimal outstanding payments.
  • Represent APS Lifetech professionally in the market.
  • Contribute to the company's growth strategy and market expansion.
