Job Description

About the Role

You will be responsible for building relationships with schools, introducing Brainmoto and its programmes to prospective schools, developing existing school relationships, and helping turn genuine school experiences and outcomes into stories, testimonials and advocacy.

This is a business development, relationship management and school communications role.

You will regularly speak with Principals, Directors, Academic Heads, Coordinators, teachers and other school stakeholders. You will conduct conversations over phone, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn and Zoom, attend in-person school meetings, and travel when required.

Once Brainmoto is working with a school, you will also stay connected with the school and understand what they are experiencing, whether that relates to an entire school, a cohort, grade, division, teacher group or an individual child's development.

You will then identify meaningful outcomes and experiences that can be developed into school stories, testimonials and LinkedIn communications that celebrate the school and its leadership.

What You Will Do

1. School Partnerships & Business Development

  • Research prospective schools and identify relevant decision-makers.
  • Initiate conversations with Principals, Directors, Academic Heads, Coordinators and school management teams.
  • Introduce Brainmoto and its programmes through phone, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and other appropriate channels.
  • Understand a school's context, priorities and requirements before presenting Brainmoto.
  • Schedule and conduct Zoom and in-person meetings with prospective schools.
  • Present Brainmoto's programmes clearly and confidently.
  • Follow up consistently on meetings, proposals and open conversations.
  • Build a pipeline of prospective schools and move qualified opportunities through the sales process.
  • Coordinate internally on proposals, requirements and next steps.
  • Participate in commercial discussions and negotiations after appropriate training.
  • Work towards agreed school acquisition and business development targets.
  • Identify opportunities for referrals and introductions through existing school networks.

2. School Visits & Relationship Building

  • Visit schools across India for meetings with Principals, Academic Heads, Coordinators, teachers and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare for each school visit by understanding the school, its leadership and the purpose of the meeting.
  • Conduct or participate in school presentations and discussions.
  • Build relationships that extend beyond an individual sales conversation.
  • Maintain regular communication with key school stakeholders after a programme begins.
  • Understand how schools are experiencing Brainmoto.
  • Identify concerns, feedback, opportunities and areas where the relationship can be strengthened.
  • Develop schools into long-term Brainmoto partners and advocates.

3. School Stories & Communications

A key part of the role is to discover and communicate the real experiences emerging from Brainmoto's work in schools.

You will:

  • Speak with Principals, Academic Leaders, Coordinators and teachers to understand their experiences.
  • Conduct short interviews and conversations to identify meaningful stories.
  • Ask thoughtful follow-up questions to understand what actually changed and why it matters.
  • Identify genuine outcomes and observations relating to children's development, teacher experiences and school-level impact within Brainmoto's domain.
  • Recognise potential stories involving a cohort, grade, division, specific programme or individual child, where appropriate and with the necessary permissions.
  • Develop these conversations into clear and engaging school stories to be posted on LinkedIn.
  • Coordinate principal and teacher testimonials, quotes, photographs and short videos.
  • Work with schools to review and approve stories before publication.
  • Help create LinkedIn stories and other Brainmoto communications that highlight the school's work and leadership.
  • Tag and appropriately acknowledge participating schools and leaders where relevant.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential stories, testimonials and advocacy opportunities.

4. Testimonials, Referrals & School Advocacy

You will help turn strong school relationships into a growing network of advocates. This includes:

Identifying Principals and educators who are willing to share their experience.

  • Coordinating testimonials and references.
  • Identifying opportunities for school referrals and introductions.
  • Asking for referrals appropriately and at the right stage of the relationship.
  • Identifying schools that may be willing to participate in case studies or other communications.
  • Helping Brainmoto develop long-term relationships with school advocates.

5. CRM, Pipeline & Reporting

You will be expected to maintain disciplined records of your work.

This includes:

  • Maintaining accurate records of school conversations, meetings and opportunities.
  • Updating the CRM consistently.
  • Tracking prospects from initial outreach through meetings, proposals and conversion.
  • Maintaining a clear follow-up schedule.
  • Recording school requirements, objections, feedback and relationship notes.
  • Tracking story opportunities, testimonials and referrals.
  • Sharing regular activity and pipeline reports with the internal team.

6. Market & School Intelligence

Your conversations with schools should generate insight, not just meetings.

You will help the Brainmoto team understand:

  • What Principals and educators value.
  • What schools are looking for.
  • Common objections and concerns.
  • What makes schools interested or hesitant.
  • How schools describe their challenges.
  • What outcomes teachers and school leaders notice.
  • Which outcomes and stories resonate with school leaders.
  • Where opportunities exist for new partnerships, referrals and deeper engagement.
