Senior Software Engineer - Python Automation Testing

Job Description

As a test engineer with expertise in Python Testning Automation , you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicle systems and components meet the required standards for performance, safety, and reliability. In this role you will play a key role in:

Designing and Implementing Tests: Develop and execute test plans and procedures for automotive systems and components.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that automotive parts and systems meet safety and quality standards. Conduct functional, performance, and durability tests to identify potential issues.

Problem Identification and Resolution: Diagnose and resolve problems in automotive systems through thorough testing and analysis. Work closely with design engineers to suggest improvements and modifications.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Record and analyze test data to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare detailed reports on test findings and provide recommendations for enhancements.

Innovation and Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and integrate new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Proficiency in using testing tools and software for automotive systems.

Ability to work well in a team environment, contributing to collective goals. Experience working in agile development environments.

Ability to analyze complex data and identify issues. Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve malfunctions.

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all tests are conducted accurately and thoroughly.

Knowledge of ASPICE V-Model Processes

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
