Role Description

The tribe "Customer Analytics" is responsible for the creation, orchestration, and delivery of digital customer communications for internal and external customers across Deutsche Bank and Postbank within Private Bank Germany (PB GY). The tribe operates several strategic platforms including Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Campaign, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Content Supply Chain, Workfront, and supporting technologies that enable personalized customer experiences.

The squad "Quality Engineering & Testing" plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, security, and quality of all customer engagement platforms and transformation initiatives. The team supports end-to-end testing activities across strategic programs, migration initiatives, platform onboarding, system integrations, and business-driven enhancements.

Over the coming months, the team will support several critical deliveries, including:

• Migration activities across existing Adobe platforms.
• Setup and onboarding of the new Italy platform.
• Platform scaling initiatives driven by new business requirements.
• Adobe Campaign migration programs and Adobe Experience Platform-related strategic deliverables.
• Increasing testing demand across multiple squads including AEP, CJA, Content Supply Chain, Workfront, and other cross-functional initiatives.

To strengthen our delivery capabilities, we are looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst / Quality Assurance Engineer who will lead and support end-to-end testing activities while ensuring high-quality and risk-free releases across the Customer Analytics ecosystem.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple strategic initiatives, migrations, and platform enhancement programs.
• Define, review, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases covering functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Coordinate testing activities for Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Campaign, CJA, Content Supply Chain, Workfront, and related marketing technology solutions.
• Support platform migration activities and ensure business continuity through detailed validation and risk-based testing approaches.
• Validate complex data flows, integrations, APIs, customer profiles, audience qualification, personalization logic, campaign deliveries, and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Architects, Business Analysts, and external vendors to ensure complete test coverage and timely defect resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis, defect triage, and impact assessments for production and pre-production issues.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and facilitate business sign-off processes.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and execution results.
• Develop and maintain automated and manual testing frameworks where applicable to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Execute data validation activities across multiple platforms and environments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare testing dashboards, quality metrics, defect reports, release readiness assessments, and executive status reporting.
• Support release, deployment, smoke testing, and post-production verification activities.
• Identify testing risks, dependencies, and quality concerns proactively and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, testing standards, best practices, and quality governance across squads.

 

Your skills and experience

Technical Skills:

Google Cloud Experience, Test Automation using Selenium for Web Applications, Test Management, API, Adobe Suite Applications - Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Data Collection (Launch), Adobe Target, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Analytics, JavaScript, HTML5, JSON, Edge Network, SQL, Agile / Scrum

Experience

• Strong experience in testing Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Experience Cloud products.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform, JavaScript development, and implementing Test Automation framework.
• A versatile profile capable of supporting both quality assurance and technical delivery activities, making them a valuable contributor across multiple squads and strategic initiatives.

• Strong understanding of API testing, integration testing, data validation, and system interface testing

• Proven experience in end-to-end testing, validating cloud-based applications, customer data platforms, marketing automation platforms, and enterprise-scale digital solutions.

• Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, data reconciliation, and troubleshooting complex system integrations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities
• Excellent communication skills with experience working across distributed teams, particularly Germany and India.
• Experience in test planning, execution, defect management, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
