SITE SUPERVISOR / SITE COORDINATOR

Location: Bhugaon , Pune

Project: Upcoming Sports Complex

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Site Supervisor / Site Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day activities at our upcoming sports complex. The role is primarily to coordinate with contractors and ensure that work progresses properly and as planned.

Key Responsibilities

• Be present at site and oversee day-to-day construction activities.
• Supervise and document the ongoing development works.
• Monitor contractors and their site teams to ensure work is being carried out properly and as per the agreed scope.
• Once drawings/ layouts are explained, be able to refer to them on site and identify basic discrepancies or deviations.
• Monitor the quality and quantity of materials being used by contractors and flag any concerns to the owners.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors and ensure their site supervisors and required workforce are present and work is progressing as scheduled.
• During demolition, observe and record the recovery/removal of materials such as steel and maintain basic records of materials being taken away.
• Monitor incoming materials such as including basic quantity/vehicle records and site progress.
• Take daily photographs and videos of the work and maintain a daily site progress record.
• Send a daily report covering work completed, labour/contractor activity, materials received/removed, issues and next-day requirements.
• Maintain a basic record of daily cash inflows and outflows and submit the same to the owners.
• Maintain basic records in MS Excel/Google Sheets. No advanced Excel or formulas are required.
• Handle small local purchases and urgent site requirements so that work does not stop due to minor tools, equipment, materials or supplies.
• Coordinate with local vendors, suppliers, contractors and labour as required.
• Immediately report any delay, material issue, workmanship concern, safety issue, unauthorised work or deviation from drawings/instructions to the owners.
• Maintain basic site discipline, housekeeping and coordination between different parties working at site.

Candidate Requirements

• 6-12 months of relevant site/construction supervision experience preferred.
• Ability to understand basic plans, dimensions, measurements and site layouts.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and site activities.
• Basic MS Excel/Google Sheets knowledge.
• Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for photographs, WhatsApp, Excel/Sheets and daily reporting.
• Should be willing to travel locally for small purchases and urgent site requirements.
• Must be responsible, observant, honest and comfortable working independently.
• AutoCAD skills are NOT required.

Important

This is an owner-side monitoring and coordination role. The appointed contractors will have their own technical/site supervisors. The candidate will work alongside them and independently monitor the work on behalf of the owners, ensuring that work, materials, quantities, records and day-to-day site activities are properly monitored and reported.

Experience in construction sites, land development, civil works or commercial projects will be preferred.
