Position: Sourcing Executive – Purchase

Location: Pune – Lullanagar

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-site

Experience: Fresher / Early Career Professional

CTC: Up to ₹3.5 LPA

Role Overview

We are looking for a Sourcing Executive who will be responsible for developing new suppliers and supporting the company's procurement activities.

The role involves extensive interaction with suppliers across different locations and requires significant travel for supplier identification, meetings, evaluations and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new suppliers for the company's raw-material requirements.
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, capacity and reliability.
• Coordinate with existing and prospective suppliers for procurement requirements.
• Support raw-material purchase activities and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, terms and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with internal teams for purchase requirements and order execution.
• Maintain supplier information, quotations, purchase records and related documentation.
• Coordinate import documentation and processes wherever required.
• Liaise with CHA (Customs House Agent), freight forwarders and other logistics partners for import shipments.
• Conduct supplier visits and market visits as required.
• Travel extensively for approximately 20 days in a month, depending on business requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; candidates with an interest in Purchase, Procurement, Sourcing or Supply Chain are preferred.
• Freshers or candidates with relevant experience can apply.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working with MS Excel and other computer applications.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across different locations.
• Ability to independently interact with suppliers and develop professional relationships.
• Candidates should be comfortable with a field-oriented sourcing role.

Compensation & Travel

CTC: Up to ₹3.5 LPA

All business-related travel expenses, including food and accommodation, will be borne by the company as per company policy.

The role requires extensive travel, approximately 20 days per month, depending on sourcing and business requirements.
