JOB SUMMARY
Job Summary
Builds and maintains individual AI agents and agent components under the guidance of senior engineers, focusing on tool integration, prompt-to-action pipelines, and testing of agentic workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain AI agents using established frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, custom orchestration layers).
Integrate tools, APIs, and data sources into agent tool-use pipelines.
Write and maintain unit/integration tests and evaluation harnesses for agent behavior.
Debug agent failures, hallucinations, and tool-call errors; document root causes and fixes.
Support senior engineers in deploying agents to staging and production environments.
Follow secure coding, data-handling, and model-usage standards.
Required Qualifications
0-3 years of software engineering or ML engineering experience.
Working proficiency in Python (or similar) and REST/GraphQL API integration.
Basic understanding of LLM concepts: prompting, embeddings, tool/function calling.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD basics.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on exposure to an agent framework (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar).
Exposure to building or configuring agents/plugins on Microsoft 365 Copilot (Copilot Studio) and/or Anthropic Claude (API, Claude Agent SDK).
Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
